Man shot dead in north Kashmir's Bandipora

[GREATERKASHMIR] In a third killing this evening, a man was rubbed out in Hajin area of north Kashmir
 ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir . The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
’s Bandipora district, news agency GNS reported while quoting officials.According to news agency GNS, Mohammad Shafi, president of the cab drivers' association in Naidkhai, was fired at in Shahgund Hajin area of the district, leaving him critically injured.
Shafi was removed to a hospital but succumbed to the wounds before being admitted, an official said. The doctors, he said, declared him brought dead on arrival.
This is the third attack within a few hours in the valley. Earlier, owner of Bindroo Medicate Makhan Lal Bindroo was rubbed out at his shop near Iqbal Park while a non-local vendor was killed near Madina Chowk in Lal Bazar area of the city.
The dear departed vendor has been identified as Virender Paswan, a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar, presently putting up at Alamgari Bazar Zadibal.
"Today in the evening, three terror incidents were reported from Srinagar & Bandipora, in which gunnies rubbed out three civilians, " a police front man said about the three killings.
"At about 1925hrs, Srinagar Police received information about terror crime incident near Iqbal Park Sherghari area of Srinagar. Officers attending the terror crime spot learnt that the owner of Bindroo Medicate namely Makhan Lal Bindroo was shot at by the gunnies near his shop at Iqbal Park. He received grievous gunshot injuries in this terror incident and was immediately evacuated to nearby hospital, however he departed this vale of tears, " he said.

at about 2015 hours Srinagar Police received information about another terror crime incident near Madina Chowk Lalbazar area of Srinagar, where gunnies rubbed out a non-local (street hawker) identified as Virender Paswan resident of Bhagalpur Bihar at present Alamgari Bazar Zadibal. Third terror crime incident was reported in Shahgund area of Bandipora where gunnies rubbed out another civilian identified as Mohd Shafi Lone resident of Naidkhai, " added the front man.
Police have registered cases in all three attacks and taken up investigation.

In the first incident, snuffies fired at a chemist, M L Bindro at the Iqbal Park area of Srinagar. He succumbed on the way to hospital. The incident took place at around 7 pm.
Releasing a statement after the attacks, spokesperson for The Resistance® Front, Umar Wani said that the group had carried out three assassinations in North Kashmir. He said that Bindro was killed because he was an RSS worker.
In the second attack the TRF killed one Virender Paswan. The outfit termed him as a non-local informer of the Intelligence Bureau. The third attack was on Shafi Lone, whom the TRF termed as an informer.
The attack took place at the Shahgund area of Hajin in Bandipora district.
In its statement, the TRF said that it would continue with attacks on RSS workers and non-local informers. We will continue with the attacks and strike fear in the hearts of these people the statement also read.
Investigations by the police are underway and a search has been launched for the terrorists.
The TRF is an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba which was formed last year. The TRF has largely local snuffies and since the day of its formation, it has targeted Hindus and people which it thinks are informers of the police. An official tells OneIndia that the intention is to drive fear into the minds of the people. The TRF has specifically targeted Hindus and those in support of peace in Jammu and Kashmir, the officer also said.
