Security chaos in Daraa Local group's commander in 4th Division killed in western countryside

[SYRIAHR] Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that the leader of a local group affiliated to the 4th Division died of the wounds he sustained earlier this morning, after being shot by button men who raided a commercial office in Taseel town, west of Daraa.

It is worth noting that the victim and his group joined the 4th Division in Taseel in western Daraa, after settling their security situations in 2018.

Since the beginning of the security chaos in Daraa in early June 2019, Syrian Observatory activists have documented more than 1,181 attacks and liquidation attempts by gunfire and detonations of IEDs, cycle of violence-bombs and car-bombs. These attacks and liquidations claimed the lives of 843 persons, categorized as follows:

247 civilians, including 14 women and 24 children

387 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services

149 fighters of factions that struck “reconciliation and settlements” deals with the regime and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders

27 Syrian militiamen affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces

33 members of the so-called 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
