Palestinian reportedly dies week after West Bank clash with IDF
|
[IsraelTimes] A Paleostinian hit by Israeli army gunfire last week during festivities in the West Bank has died of his wounds, Paleostinian sources tell AFP.
The sources say Dia al-Sabarini, 25, was seriously maimed in the northern town of Jenin and transferred to hospital on August 3. Five other Paleostinians were maimed in the same festivities after troops had entered Jenin, according to Paleostinian medics.
Israeli police say security forces had opened fire after coming under attack with bombs and Molotov cocktails during an operation in Jenin.
