Various members have appeared in the Rantburg archives acting for Fatah, Hamas, and the PLO in general: among many others, blond haired, blue eyed Ahed Tamimi used to regularly join her brother and cousins in slapping and screaming at IDF soldiers in an attempt create a photogenic incident; a younger cousin, Janna Jihad Ayyad started vlogging her created adventures after her father moved the family back from Florida a few years ago; Ahed’s papa, Bassem Tamimi travelled the world for Fatah and the PLO, lecturing on Palestinian purity and Israeli evil; Jordan continues to refuse to extradite to America cousin Ahlam Tamimi and her Tamimi clan husband for their part in the Hamas/Palestinian Islamic Jihad murder of an American at a pizzaria in 2001... the Paleostinian Authority Health Ministry said Friday night.
Paliwood dead or really truly dead? So often those reported dead in that part of the world get off the stretcher and walk home after the cameras are turned off... The IDF did not immediately confirm the claim, although several other festivities were known to have taken place across the West Bank on Friday.

According to the Paleostinian Authority Health Ministry, Mohammad Munir al-Tamimi, 17, was shot in the stomach during festivities with Israeli soldiers on Friday afternoon. He was rushed to a hospital in nearby Salfit at death's door, where he died later that night.
The IDF said in response that while it was aware of reports on the matter, it could not confirm that al-Tamimi had been killed by its soldiers. A spokesperson said further details on the incident would be forthcoming in the next few hours.
Friday saw festivities break out at various friction points across the West Bank. In Beita, a Paleostinian town near Nablus, hundreds of Paleostinians gathered to demonstrate against Israeli presence on a nearby hilltop known in Arabic as Jabal Sbeih. According to the Israeli military, hundreds of Paleostinians clashed with Israeli soldiers, throwing stones. Two Israeli soldiers were lightly maimed, the IDF said.
"Troops operating at the scene used riot dispersal means and Roger bullets," an army spokesperson said. The latter bullts are a form of live fire whose impact, while less severe than that of ordinary bullets, can still be lethal.
According to the Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy, 21 Paleostinians were shot by Israeli live fire, and another 68 were maimed with rubber bullets. Around 195 suffered from tear gas inhalation.
The protests began several weeks ago when Israeli settler nationalists established an illegal outpost, called Evyatar, on Jabal Sbeih. Hundreds of settlers flowed into the area, regularly holding events in an attempt to push the state to legalize the land grab.
Paleostinians say the plot is land privately owned by Beita residents. Israeli authorities have not yet determined whether that is the case.
Every Friday beginning in June, Paleostinian demonstrators marched toward the outpost, hurling stones at Israeli forces and setting tires ablaze. The IDF respond with rubber bullets and, occasionally, live fire. Four Paleostinians died from Israeli fire in the festivities. After dark, Paleostinian "night confusion units" shined lasers, rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud and burned tires in an attempt to irritate the hilltop’s new residents. In an attempt to lower tensions in the area, the Israeli government reached an agreement with the settlers to vacate the outpost. In exchange, the makeshift buildings they had installed would remain in place, the IDF would turn the area into a makeshift base and over the next six months, the Defense Ministry would survey the land to see if it could be legally transformed into a formal settlement.
Paleostinian residents of Beita have not accepted this arrangement, however, and have vowed to continue protesting until Israeli presence on Jabal Sbeih ends.
"This was an agreement that was made without any representatives from the landowners in Beita. It’s just the Israeli occupation and its settlers," said Beita deputy mayor Mousa Hamayel in a phone call. "As long as there is no access to the land, there will continue to be a natural response."
