#3 George Gascon was rejected in San Francisco, but George Soros funded his move down to Los Angeles to become the DA of Los Angeles.
Gascon barely won over Jackie Lacey the first black DA in LA in 2012.
She was pro law enforcement unlike Gascon.
Gascon only won because of ballot harvesting in high density population centers of LA.
There is a recall effort to recall George Gascon.
If you know anyone who lives in LA County encourage them to go to the recall website to download a petition to gather the required signatures for a recall:

Hopefully, we will be able to successfully recall George Gascon as well as Governor Newsom (Recall election date for Newsom is September 14 before the forest fires get worse and electricity blackouts occur and people find out that Newsom has no control over the teachers unions so back to school in September will fail upsetting parents of school aged children).
Hopefully, a successful recall George Gascon will send a clear message to LAPD and council members in charge of Los Angeles City.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva is pro police and is standing up to Gascon and Garceti on the police side on issues of law enforcement.
