[KhaamaPress] Ministry of Defense in a released statement on Tuesday said at least 251 Talibs were killed and 193 others were maimed in 12 provinces over the past 24 hours.
The statement said that a number of weapons and ammunition belonging to the insurgency group were also destroyed during the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces’ operations.

the Taliban also asserted that the group has inflicted heavy casualties on ANA, and a number of their outposts in some provinces have fallen to the Taliban.
Moreover, Mehdi Rasekh, Representative of Maidan Wardak at the Parliament on Wednesday said that four security checkpoints and Sanglakh valley in Jalriz district have fallen to the Taliban.
Rasekh said the incident happened on Wednesday after heavy festivities between the Taliban and the government forces.
Taliban stormed Jalriz district on Wednesday morning before some checkpoints and Sanglakh valley collapsed, Rasekh told media.
"Sanglakh Valley has completely fallen into the hands of the Taliban", the krazed killer group has already begun house to house operations for searching purposes.
The Taliban attack on the Jalriz district is aimed at overthrowing the district, and trapped security forces in the region were called on to surrender, Rasekh said.
The bully boyz are said to have planned for attacking Behsud district after capturing Jalriz completely.
Ministry of Defense did not provide details in this regard, but Fawad Aman, deputy front man for MoD says reports about the Jalriz district are inaccurate.
