[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] - Protests have been held in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, since Sunday's shooting of Daunte Wright, 20
- Riot police repeatedly fired tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets into the furious crowd, which flung fireworks and water bottles back
- Wright was shot and killed at a traffic stop by Kimberly Potter, 48, who claims she meant to pull her taser on him
- For the first time on Thursday police in Brooklyn Center did not enforce 10pm curfew police let protesters disperse
- Potter was in court on Thursday charged with second-degree manslaughter, she has not entered a plea
