‘Suspicious' blackout strikes Iran's Natanz nuclear site

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Iran’s underground Natanz nuclear facility lost power Sunday just hours after starting up new advanced centrifuges capable of enriching uranium faster, the latest incident to strike the site amid negotiations over the tattered atomic accord with world powers.

As Iranian officials investigated the outage, many Israeli media outlets offered the similar assessment that a cyberattack darkened Natanz and damaged a facility that is home to sensitive centrifuges. While the reports offered no sourcing for the evaluation, Israeli media maintains a close relationship with the country’s military and intelligence agencies.

If Israel caused the blackout, it further heightens the tensions between the two nations already engaged in a shadow conflict across the wider Middle East.

If Israel dunnit, that makes it Page 1: War on Terror, even if no IAF F-35s were involved.

It also complicates efforts by the U.S., Israel’s main security partner, to re-enter the atomic accord aimed at limiting Tehran’s program so it couldn’t pursue a nuclear weapon if it chose.

Is that what it’s aimed at? Because it’s functioned in the other direction thus far.

As news of the blackout emerged, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin landed in Israel on Sunday for talks with Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz.

Maybe the Iranians aren't building a Ground Type Nuke, but are building a HEMP WARHEAD?

Put an EMP with a E2+ pulse on a Qiam-1 a missile 1000km reach or North Korea provided Missile both of which can be Launched into a 100+ mile circular orbit. Then wait an pop it over the USA.

It would take out between 75%+ of all Civilian IC Electronics and about 40+% of the UN-shielded DOD Federal stuff (maybe not Hillary's Laptop ☺). Plus anyone wearing a pace maker.

Some effectiveness examples according to the March 26, 2008 Congressional Report Called "High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) and High Power Microwave (HPM) Devices: Threat Assessments"

eg.In 2001, a U.S. Comanche helicopter,flying in New York while performing a radar test involving HPM weapons, generated a low-level energy pulse that reportedly disrupted for 2 weeks the global positioning systems (GPS) being used to land commercial aircraft at a nearby airport in Albany, New York.

eg. In 2005, Iran reportedly acquired several medium and intermediate-range ballistic missiles from North Korea, with a range of 2,500 miles. Also, reportedly, Iran has tested several of their Shahab-3 ballistic missiles, which were likely to have been deliberately exploded in mid-flight. Because Iran has officially described the tests as fully successful.

BTW: For around $2,500 you can build a short range line of sight to take out a 20ft Wide x 100+ft long area. That fits in a backpack using only commercially available electrical components SEE .
