#2 /\ I-75 or I-85 thru Atlanta same thing. Make sure you've topped off the fuel well prior to the beltway. Avoid the left lane if possible. Once inside the beltway, no stopping until you get to well south (15-20 miles) of the other side.

A motoring tip you won't find at AAA.

#3 I flew into Hotlanta for a convention once years ago. Have never had to drive the beltway there. I have an uncle in Dalton, but I don't have to get anywhere near 'Lanta to drive there.

#4 I grew up just outside of Atlanta; Smyrna was 'way out yonder in the boondocks then. The Atlanta that was, then, no longer exists. Left in 2000 and never looked back.
