Capitol Attacker Identified, and the Left Won't Like This

[PJ] The U.S. Capitol was locked down on Friday after a suspect wielding a knife rammed into a barricade, leaving one officer injured. Another later died from injuries sustained in the attack.

Sources tell Fox News that the suspect’s name is Noah Green, 25, who is from Indiana but has ties to Virginia. According to a source in law enforcement, Green identifies himself as a Nation of Islam supporter,

...which makes it a War on Terror attack, even if it turns out he was in the throes of schizophrenia — personal beliefs shape the direction the paranoia drives a person...

and he may have recently lost his job.

Law enforcement officials said terrorism is not suspected.

No motive has been established yet, but almost immediately after reports of the incident appeared on social media, the Left immediately started to blame Donald Trump and the Capitol riot in January for the incident.

According to the suspect’s now-deleted Facebook page, he was definitely not a Trump supporter.

"Peace, friends, family, enemies, and the like," Green wrote in a Facebook post in March. "To be honest these past few years have been tough, and these past few months have been tougher. I have been tried with some of the biggest, unimaginable tests in my life. I am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey."

Judges in the trials of the Viking-Shaman / Capitol-Larkers are getting impatient and telling prosecutors to put up or shut up. Defendants are ordered released; prosecutors are being chastised by the judges.

IOW the claims about 'subversion' and violence were complete horseshit.

The CBS affiliate in Indianapolis reported tonight that Green filed a petition in Marion County Court on December 8, 2020 to change his name from Noah Ricardo Green to Noah Zaeem Muhammad.

While violent assaults in the Capitol are rare, protests and acts of civil disobedience — such as disrupting congressional hearings or even House and Senate floor sessions, are more common. That means prosecutors and judges will have to weigh how much more punishment a Trump supporter who invaded the Capitol during the Electoral College count deserves than, say, an anti-war protester chanting at a CIA confirmation hearing or a gun-control advocate shouting in the middle of the State of the Union address.

... The Justice Department will soon be in the awkward position of having to defend such deals, even as trials and lengthy sentences for those facing more serious charges could be a year or more away.

Adding to the political awkwardness: The expected wave of plea offers comes as former President Donald Trump seems intent on falsely rewriting the history of the Jan. 6 assault. In an interview with Laura Ingraham on Fox News Thursday night, Trump suggested that prosecutors and the FBI are making too much of the Capitol takeover, which left five people dead and dozens of police officers injured.

“It was zero threat. Right from the start, it was zero threat,” Trump declared. “Look, they went in — they shouldn’t have done it — some of them went in, and they’re hugging and kissing the police and the guards, you know? They had great relationships. A lot of the people were waved in, and then they walked in, and they walked out.”

Still, all the time and personnel they've been and will continue to waste on this nonsense is time that they won’t be able to spend on more effectively malevolent cases — since they weren’t going to spend it chasing down jihadis, narco-gansters, human traffickers and their traffickees, or Antifa/BLM members doing all the things they (mostly falsely) accused the January Sixers of.
