Systemic Racism - the Big Lie
The Naked Dollar via Instapundit
So, why do we say systemic racism, and not just racism? Why systemic?

It's important to understand the words and phrases that so thoroughly penetrate our national discourse, because most people don't.

Systemic racism is not about specific instances of racism. Rather, it is the belief that racism is imbued in our national DNA, in our system. It looks to broad, racial outcomes as evidence. Any disparity in result is a priori proof of systemic racism.

Ibram X. Kendi himself, the man at the very pinnacle of the "Anti-racism" power structure, says, "Racial discrimination is the sole cause of racial disparities in this country."

...As long as racial groups perform differently, there must be racism. Systemic racism.

If our system is racist, then we must ask, what does our system consist of? The answer to that is institutions, of course. The government, corporations, schools, foundations...

...first, let's be clear, there was a time in our country where most of our institutions were racist.

...But matters have changed radically in the last few decades. I am unaware of any institutions that don't give special preferences to blacks. Many significantly so.

Everyone knows this, but it's a truth you can't speak, particularly if you rely on someone else for your paycheck.

Whether you think such preferences are the right thing to do is a discussion for a different day. But it's an unarguable fact that preferences are given.

The government and public schools certainly do.

Universities certainly do. The average SAT scores for black students at places like Harvard is several hundred points lower than other students.

Corporations certainly do. In fact, they are desperate to hire more black candidates, and are often frustrated in their efforts to do so. Same goes for finding board members. The CEO of Wells Fargo, Charles Scharf, got in hot water recently when he said, "The unfortunate reality is that there is a very limited pool of black talent to recruit from."
USA used to be the world's leading economy - and then, IMHO, affirmative action was invented.

#3 Malum bonum quod (good seen as evil). "Systemic racism?" Very doubtful. Systemic ignorance, more likely.

#4

Look I lived the Middle Eastern Ga., in fact we lived a 1/2 mile off Tobacco Rd./US-25.and grew up in the actual Hollywood "Tobacco Rd" 1941 6depicted movie area. We were a mixed community even then. Having Blacks neighbors all around us, we hung out and ate BBQ and Fish Fry's together. Yes while exercising the usual care. We did not see racial issues until getting on a Bus to head downtown. Even many of us still sat in seats next to each other, So using the Far Left's latest New PC Word, I guess we were "woke" as far back 1963.

Today, here in My South, I see more inter-racial couples than I do up North in my Assignments.
Here I see greater mutual sincere respect & manners between Older Whites and Older Blacks.

While places up North I have been assigned GIG's were still practicing a toned down version of Driving Miss Daisy. But with Screwy Louies or Rev. Wright as the Driver and a typical Do as I say not as I do Northern Liberal Politician as Miss Daisy.

What bothers me the most is the younger Black Generations I see as walking around with a Racial Chip on both their shoulders. Too many trying to act the Blackest in the group.

I think the 1990's + Black generation needs to WAKE UP and see how RACIST they act and look.

#5 Sadly I don't think it's going to happen. A certain subset has been told over and over that they're being oppressed and their attitude is such that I think Darwinism is their only future.

#6 It's actually guilt and inaction that is systemic.

The only recourse civilized people have is to overtly descend to the level of prejudiced they are accused of being, and selectively dis-empower those they have foolishly appeased for generations.

It shall require actual unfairness, letting loose chaos and extra-judicial actions, harassment by mobs, and playing the villains properly. This is what China did too. The current paradigms of humanist social theory governing western democracies will have to be broken if it is to survive the assault of the liberal zeitgeist.

#7 Systematic racism most likely exists in many Democrat run cities. I'm tired of the entire country being told to feel guilty because of what the Democrats have done and are doing now.
