Explosion in Helmand claims gov’t prosecutor

Helmand police front man Mohammad Zaman Hamdard confirmed the incident to the media but did not provide further details.
On the other hand, a number of media outlets reported that the earth-shattering kaboom took place near the Helmand Police headquarters.
According to reports eight people including a woman were also injured in the attack.
No individual or group has grabbed credit for the attack.
This comes as Hashim Hamdard, a tribal elder was killed in an IED blast in the Jangal Bagh area in PD7 of Jalalabad city in Nangarhar
