[OneIndia] New Delhi, Feb 17: The Delhi Police will ask Shantanu Maluk who is allegedly part of the toolkit to explain why he was at the Tikri Border on January 26, when the farmers' protest turned violent.

On Tuesday, the Bombay High Court granted transit anticipatory bail to Muluk. His name cropped up following the arrest of Disha Ravi by the Delhi Police. The police said that she had helped create the toolkit, which was later used by Greta Thunberg.

The police also found that members of the pro-Khalistan group, Poetic Justice Foundation had also joined the group.

Farmers' Protest: Indian Railways diverts, cancels trains in Punjab, amid rail roko call
[OneIndia] New Delhi, Feb 17: Farmers, who are protesting against the Centre's farm laws have called a four-hour rail blockade across the country from 12 noon to 4pm on Thursday (February 18) but the agitation has forced the Railways to either cancel or divert trains in Punjab on Wednesday.

According to a release issued by Northern Railway, the farmers' agitation in the state, the Darbhanga-Amritsar Express special train, which was to start on Wednesday, will remain cancelled.

While rail blockades by farmers across the state, which started in September-end, were lifted in November, members of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee continue to block passenger trains at Jandiala Guru in Amritsar district.

Though the protesters have been sitting outside the station on a symbolic protest since November, the Railways have not run passenger trains on the route since the farmers have declared they will allow only goods trains.

Red Fort incident: Prime accused Maninder Singh arrested, swords seized
[OneIndia] New Delhi, Feb 17: Maninder Singh, most wanted in the Red Fort violence case, has been arrested by the Delhi Police's Special Cell on Tuesday.

Singh, a resident of Swaroop Nagar in Delhi was seen in a video swinging two swords at Red Fort on January 26. Reportedly, he had motivated six persons from the region. They riding upon bikes, had accompanied tractor rally of farmers heading from Singhu border towards Mukarba Chowk on the Republic Day.

Tens of thousands of farmers broke barriers to storm the national capital on January 26, their tractor parade to highlight their demands dissolving into unprecedented scenes of anarchy as they fought with police, overturned vehicles and delivered a national insult hoisting a religious flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort, a privilege reserved for India''s tricolour.

Toolkit: Masterminds abroad, foot-soldiers in India infiltrated the protests to wreck havoc
[OneIndia] New Delhi, Feb 18: The sole intention of the banned outfit Poetic Justice Foundation is to spread unrest in the country. The outfit took advantage of the ongoing farmers' protest and created networks to incite violence, the police probing the toolkit case have learnt.

Sources tell OneIndia that all the instructions to the foot-soldiers in India came from abroad. The specific instruction was to create unrest and also begin a disinformation campaign, the investigations have also found.

A Zoom meeting held before January 26 is also under the scanner. The police say that the protests were discussed at the meeting held virtually and around 70 persons took part in it. While 26 from abroad attended the meeting, the rest were from India.
