Kandahar: Car Bomb in Daman Wounds 22 Civilians, 9 Police
[ToloNews] A boom-mobile went kaboom! near the Daman district police HQ and the governor's compound in southern Kandahar, wounding over 30 people--and at least 22 civilians--and the police chief, local officials said.

This comes as a jacket wallah attempting to target a security forces compound with a Humvee in Zherai district of Kandahar on Monday afternoon was neutralized by security forces before reaching its target, local police said. There were no casualties from the blast, the police added.

Taliban fighters attacked Bulgur, Charkhab, and Gulbagh areas of Kandahar’s Panjwai district on Sunday, the Ministry of Defense indicated.
MoD said Taliban attacks were repelled in the region by the national security forces.
Following the skirmish, 15 Taliban fighters are reported dead and five others are maimed , according to MoD.
Large amount of weapons and ammunition belonging to the group is also destroyed, and five mines planted by the Death Eater group were also neutralized.
But the Taliban have not yet commented.
