CTD officials foil suicide attack on Lahore police station

[DAILYTIMES.PK] Officials from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday said they foiled a possible krazed killer attack by killing a suspected would-be jacket wallah when he tried to sneak into a cop shoppe near Lahore.
According to a statement released by police, the suspected krazed killer was killed in an exchange of fire early on Tuesday when he shot at guards after being asked to halt at the premises of the cop shoppe in the village of Burki.
The man was wearing an explosive vest and he had two grenades in his pockets, the statement said. Police released pictures of an explosive vest, two grenades and a pistol, saying the suspect was carrying them.
Officials provided no further details and said a search operation was underway in the area.
Security forces in Pakistain are often targeted by bully boyz who want the government to end its support to Washington in its ’war on terror’. In October 2009, bully boyz attacked a police training facility in another village near Lahore, killing more than 30 people.
The latest development comes a day after the military said troops in the tribal areas killed two bully boyz during a raid on a krazed killer hideout in Bajaur.
According an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) blurb, a major terrorist network was neutralised near Tangi village.
It said Zubair and Fida, the two bully boyz killed, were involved in terrorist activities in Bajaur and Bloody Karachi

The ISPR said that the network was coordinating terrorist activities in various areas of Pakistain and receiving direct orders from their RAW
