Zabul Car Bomb Attack Claims 2, Wounds 12

[KhaamaPress] A vehicle packed with explosives went kaboom! in Qalat, the capital of Zabul province, at around 11:30 on Saturday.

Zabul Governor Gul-Islam Sial confirmed the news, saying the blast took place near Haji Atajan’s "Petrol Station".

The Purpose of the blast is still unknown.

Sial added that four civilians had been killed in the blast, and 12 others are maimed, but no harm was reached to the security forces.

On the other hand, Ata Jan Haqbayan, the head of Zabul Provincial Council, wrote on his Facebook page that the earth-shattering kaboom took place near his office, killing two of his bodyguards and injuring 12 others.

No individual or group has grabbed credit for the blast.

members were killed in Uruzgan province, According to reports 11 Talibs were killed and 3 others maimed in Dehrawood District.

The operations claimed seven other Lions of Islam in Gizab district of Uruzgan Province.

Three of the strongholds belonging to the group were also reportedly destroyed during the festivities.
