Maidan Wardak: Roadside Mines Claim 5, Wounds Nine

[KhaamaPress] Maidan Wardak, Governor’s office blurb states, that five non-combatants were killed and nine others were maimed on when two passenger vans collided with Two roadside mines in Jalriz district.

All the victims, including women and kiddies were civilians according to the statement.

According to Mehdi Rasekh, a representative of Maidan Wardak in the House of Representatives, nine non-combatants were killed and four others were maimed when two passenger vans collided with placed roadside mines in the Aab Basragh area of Jalriz district.

Rasekh said: "First, a so-called Toyota Van carrying residents of the Waras district in Bamyan province collided with a roadside mine in the Aab Basragh area, killing and injuring a number of people."

He added: "When another vehicle was transporting the two injured in the incident, it also collided with another mine, as a result of which the two maimed civilians also died".

According to Rasekh, the mine was planted by the Taliban
