Kandahar: 10 Taliban Toes Up, 2 Civilians Kaboomed

were killed as thet attacked security forces in southern Kandahar on Saturday night, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement on Sunday.
The festivities took place in Shah Wali Kot district and the "attack was pushed back by the security forces."
Security forces also destroyed four Taliban cycle of violence s. it added.
The statement did not provide details about possible security force casualties in the attack.
The Taliban has not commented on the attack.
Civilian Killed in Kandahar Roadside Blast
[ToloNews] At least one civilian was killed and another was maimed in a roadside mine blast in the southern province of Kandahar on Monday morning, a local police official confirmed.
The incident occurred in Zharai district when a cycle of violence struck a roadside mine, police officials said.
The local police blame the Taliban
 ...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
for the blast, but the Taliban has not yet commented.
