fighters were killed and 8 others maimed Ministry of Defense Confirmed the operation.

A Taliban leader was also killed in the Skirmish area, the Defense officials said.

The operation took place while days before the Taliban were gathering in the area in a bid to plan and carry out insurgency attacks in the region.

On Friday, National security forces carried the operation successfully, these Defense forces were also backed by the air support.
