Israeli police arrest Al-Aqsa guard, maintenance employee - report
|
[Jpost] Israel Police arrested Zeenat Abu Sobeih, the head of the female guards at al-Aqsa, and Imran al-Ashhab, a maintenance employee at the mosque, on Wednesday, according to Paleostinian reports. It is unclear what the reasons for their arrests were.
Probably members of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement — the Muslim Brotherhood in Israel— which goes in for riots and harassing Jews on the Temple Mount via their Israeli Arab Mourabitoun cadres, funding Hamas, and social services in Arab villages in the Galilee. The Southern Branch claims to be Zionist and goes in for Israeli politics. Video reportedly from the scene showed Israel Police escorting the two off of the Temple Mount.
