Back to back explosions leave 10 civilians dead in Kandahar province

[KhaamaPress] Two back to back explosions left at least ten civilians dead in southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan, the local officials confirmed.
Jamal Naseri, a spokesperson for Kandahar Police, confirmed that the two explosions took place late on Sunday night in Arghistan district.
According to Naseri, the first explosion took place Shanarai area of Arghistan, targeting a civilian vehicle which left at least 8 civilians dead.
Naseri further added that the second blast took place in Burj area of the district which killed two pedestrians.
No individual or group including Taliban
 ...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
has so far grabbed credit for the two explosions. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
the local authorities blamed anti-government armed elements for the blasts.
Talibs and other murderous Moslems frequently use improvised bombs to target the security personnel and government staff but majority of such attacks kill or wound ordinary civilians.
