#IRAN state TV is now reporting that blast in a gas facility near a defense ministry base was the cause of the explosion in eastern #Tehran. It quotes an informed military source as saying that the gas facility is not related to military sites in the area.

Now official: a defence ministry spokesman says the explosion was caused by a gas tank in the Parchin area. “We did not suffer any casualties.”
