Hundreds of undocumented migrants flock to New York DMV offices to take advantage of new law that allows them to get valid driving permit

The Driver's License Access and Privacy Act was passed on June 17, 2019

On Monday, hundreds lined up in New York to apply for driver's license under law

Law allows those aged 16 and older to apply for the license 'regardless of their citizenship or lawful status' in the US, according to the law

License applicants without a valid Social Security number can submit multiple alternative forms of ID that includes valid passports issued in foreign countries

It's hoped the law will make day-to-day lives easier for undocumented migrants
