9 killed, wounded as Taliban militants open fire on civilians in Ghazni
|
[KhaamaPress] The Talibs deliberately opened fire on civilians in South-eastern Ghazni province, killing or wounding at least 9 civilians, the local authorities said.
The Governor’s Office of Ghazni said in a statement the Talibs opened fire on civilian homes and vehicles in Imam Raza, Shash Gor and Shohda areas along Dara-e Qayaq route in Jaghatoo district.
The statement further added the shootings killed 3 civilians including two children and maimed 6 including a child.
The statement also added that two members of the security forces also sustained injuries after arriving in the area to respond to Taliban

shootings.
The Taliban group has not commented in this regard so far.
