Turkish jets ‘neutralize’ 7 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq

Ankara (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Ottoman Turkish fighter jets neutralized seven PKK Lions of Islam during a counter-terrorism operation in northern Iraq, Yeni Safak quoted the Ottoman Turkish Defense Ministry as saying on Tuesday morning.
Airstrikes were carried out in the Gara region as part of the ongoing Operation Claw, the ministry said on Twitter.
Ottoman Turkish authorities often use the term "neutralized" in statements to imply the Lions of Islam in question surrendered or were killed or captured.

On July 13, Turkey launched Operation Claw-2 as a follow-up on the successfully ongoing Claw-1, which revealed new information on terrorist activities, according to the ministry.
