2 civilians killed, 14 wounded in an explosion in Baghlan province

[KhaamaPress] An kaboom in northern Baghlan province killed two civilians and maimed 14 others earlier today, the local security officials said.
The incident took place in Nahrin district of Baghlan after an improvised bomb planted close to a mosque went off.
A front man for Baghlan Police Ahmad Jawid Basharat confirmed that the kaboom took place as a number of people were leaving the mosque after Eid prayers.
He said the victims of the incident are all civilians.

the security officials in Nahrin are saying that a cycle of violence packed with explosives exploded close to a mosque in a bid to target a Local Police commander.
The local officials further added that the Local Police commander Haji Aminullah escaped the kaboom unhurt but 2 non-combatants were killed in the blast.
No individual or group has so far grabbed credit for the kaboom.
