in South-eastern Paktia province, the Afghan military said Saturday.
Talibs and other holy warriors often use women’s dresses as a disguise to carry out terrorist related activities. Several bandidos holy warriors have been arrested in the past who had disguised as women to escape from security operations.
The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the Afghan armed forces arrested four Talibs in Speri area of the placid provincial capital during an operation which was conducted in the framework of Thunder Operations.
The statement further added that the detained bandidos holy warriors belong to Qari Bilal group and the identities of the detainees have been ascertained as Mawlavi Nematullah son of Haji Gul Mohammad, Rohullah son of Taj Mohammad, Sultan Mohammad son of Gul, and Riaz son of Jan Zamin.
The detained bandidos holy warriors are hailing from the placid provincial capital Gardez city, the 203rd Thunder Corps said, adding that a rocket launcher, an Ak-47 assault rifle, two radio sets, women’s dresses, a Toyota Corolla type vehicle, and a cycle of violence were confiscated by the armed forces during the operation.
