Over 20 Houthi fighters killed as UAE-backed troops launch massive offensive

[AMN] BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:45 A.M.) ‐ The UAE-backed troops launched a massive offensive against the Houthi forces in western Yemen on Saturday.

According to reports from western Yemen, the UAE-backed Giants Brigade, stormed the Wadi Maqsab area of western Ta’iz on Saturday, seizing several points from the Houthi troops in the area.

Backed by Saudi Coalition airstrikes, the Giants Brigade managed to seize all of the Wadi Maqsab area after the Houthi forces made the decision to withdraw in order to avoid any more casualties.

The Houthi forces will likely launch a counter-attack in the coming hours as they look to reclaim the territory they lost in the Ta’iz Governorate this weekend.
