Backed by heavy Arclight airstrike s and artillery, the Syrian Democratic Forces were able to crack the Islamic State’s lines at the town of Baghouz Fouqani and force tens of Death Eaters to surrender.
The Syrian Democratic Forces then asserted full control over Baghouz Fouqani as the remaining Islamic State Death Eaters slipped back to the nearby town of Safafneh.
The remaining Islamic State Death Eaters are now expected to make their last stand against the Syrian Democratic Forces at Safafneh.
With their recent string of losses, it appears ISIS is in desperation mode as some reports indicated on Wednesday that the terrorist group executed several of their foreign members for trying to surrender to the Syrian Democratic Forces.
According to the reports, the Islamic State executed more than 15 members that were planning to surrender themselves to the Syrian Democratic Forces, including 7 French fighters.
