Islamic State group suspect arrested, charged in Germany

...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....

Prosecutors said in a statement that Mohammed A. G., whose last name wasn’t given in line with privacy laws, was locked away

He’s accused of joining IS in Syria in August 2013 and fighting in several battles through mid-2015, commanding a unit of fighters.
It was not clear when he entered Germany nor how he was identified by authorities as a suspect. Prosecutors were not available for questions.
Hundreds of thousands of Syrians entered Germany in 2015-16 as asylum seekers and in several other cases, migrants colonists have identified IS suspects in their midst to authorities.
