Russian Air Force swarms ISIS-occupied areas in Suweida Governate in east Syria
|
[AlMasdar] The Russian Air Force has completely shifted their attention from the Idlib Governorate to eastern Syria.
Led by the Sukhoi jets, the Russian Air Force has been hammering the so-called Islamic State (ISIS) in eastern Syria for 72 hours straight.
These Russian airstrikes in the Al-Safa and Badiya Al-Sham regions have paved the way for the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies to advance through the Islamic State’s well-fortified defenses.
With the uncertainty surrounding the Idlib offensive, the Russian Air Force has spent the last few days launching airstrikes across the vast desert region of Syria.
This desert region is filled with Islamic State terrorists that escaped the Deir Ezzor, Homs, Al-Raqqa, and Al-Sweida governorates.
