Turkish planes bomb Duhok’s Amedi district

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region ‐ ~~Ottoman~~ Turkish jets bombarded villages in the Amedi district of Duhok on Tuesday morning.

Brigadier Dler Zebari, commander of the border guards in Duhok, told Rudaw they had spotted two ~~Ottoman~~ Turkish jets overhead.

Five villages - Rashava, Barnaje, Sarne, Bebo, and Zewa ‐ as well as Mount Matin were shelled, Bewar Rashavay, a local, told Rudaw.

No casualties have been immediately reported.

~~Ottoman~~ Turkish armed forces are carrying out a ground and air campaign against the PKK in the Kurdistan Region.
