Suspected US Drone Carries Out An Airstrike Near Awdhegle Town

[RADIOSHABELLE] A suspected unmanned US aircraft carried out an ~~Arclight~~ airstrike in Lower Shabelle region of Southern Somalia on Tuesday, the first raid in the beginning of the new year.

Sources said the airstrike struck a vehicle ferrying 10 people. It’s not clear who were the occupants of the bus traveling on the outskirts of Awdhegle controlled by Al-Shabaab

The details of the casualties remain sketchy. The local administration did not respond to a Radio Shabelle request for comment on the attack.
