[Daily Excelsior] A policeman was killed and seven others were maimed as bully boyz attacked a police bus in Pantha Chowk area on the outskirts of Srinagar this evening.

Police said that bully boyz ambushed a bus on its way from Zewan to Srinagar at Pantha Chowk area in the outskirts of Srinagar this evening.

Police said that eight coppers were maimed and one of them succumbed to injuries. They said that injured included Head Constable Kishan Lal, Constable Merajudin, Head Constable Abdul Hamid and Head Constable Shabir Ahmad. The four injured were admitted to hospital where Head Constable Kishan Lal succumbed to injuries.

Senior police and security force officials reached the spot and massive search operation has been launched in the area against the bully boyz responsible for the attack. Lashkar-e-Taiba

The attack comes when Inspector General of Jammu and Kashmire Police, Kashmire Range, said that the Kashmiri bully boyz have gone into hiding and Pak bully boyz belonging to various outfits have taken their place after ’Operation All Out’ launched by security forces.
