Finsbury Park: Number of casualties as 'van hits pedestrians' on Seven Sisters Road

 after a vehicle struck pedestrians, leaving "a number of casualties" in north London.

Officers were called at 12.20am on Monday to Seven Sisters Road, the Metropolitan Police said.

London Ambulance Service said: "We have sent a number of resources to an incident in Seven Sisters Road."

The incident reportedly happened close to Finsbury Park mosque.

Witnesses reported seeing six people on the ground after the van ploughed into worshippers who had been attending evening prayers at the Muslim Welfare House.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing bystanders wrestle the suspect to the ground and pin him down until officers arrived.

One eyewitness speaking to LBC said the van had hit people on the pavement, but had not collided with a building. "It looked like he had lost control of the van or something," he said.

A man leapt out of a white van and stabbed at least one person near a North London mosque, the Evening Standard newspaper reported on Monday, citing witnesses.

The suspect screamed "I'm going to kill all Muslims" before he was tackled to the floor, according to a witness.

#4 Findsbury park Mosque was a hotbed of radicalism and got shut down. Subsequently reopened under new sweetness and light management or so Wikipedia says.

Given the van was rented 200 miles away in rural Wales, I'd say it was specifically targeted.

There's probably a majority of people who look at this country failing needlessly and wondering WTF is happening. Looking at those who died in the recent fire makes it look like it was a fire in pakistan.

They obviously were not near the mosque as that's 10 mins walk up the road.

There was group around him and the van swerved away from them probably into the curb.

It's starting to look like it. I'd assumed it was directly outside the mosque. As it wasn't, how would the driver even know they were muslims?

Someone from outside London, not familiar with area, comes around a corner to find a crowd in the middle of the road. The rest can be put down to the muslim tendency to lie compulsively.

Can't see any of the MSM backtracking on the terrorism narrative as yet.

Follow the link to the videos and I can see why the eyewitness thought it was just a drill. No urgency and looks consistent with a minor traffic accident with no serious injuries.

Add in police over reaction due to the claim of 'terrorism'. And it looks like the real story is Muslims lying, resulting in a massive waste of police time.

The Daily Express has two bits of video, which don't make it look like a proper jihad attack, and they report the police say it isn't terror. On Bright Pebble's twitter link people were claiming the man was swearing in Romanian, about which I am not qualified to judge.
