(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A police source revealed on Thursday, that a number of people were either killed or wounded in a suicide bombing on al-Husseiniyah march in northern Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew up himself inside al-Husseiniyah march in al-Shola area in northern Baghdad,” pointing out that, “The attack either killed or wounded a number of people.”

The source added, “A security force cordoned off the explosion area and barred approaching it, while the ambulances rushed to the area to transfer the wounded to the hospital and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department.”
