Palestinian attempts to stab soldiers in West Bank, is shot

[IsraelTimes] Man pulls out a knife during a routine inspection near Hermesh; receives medical treatment at the scene, army says

IDF troops shot and injured a Paleostinian man who attempted to stab them near the Hermesh settlement in the northern West Bank on Monday, the army said.

According to the IDF, the soldiers were inspecting the man at a checkpoint near Hermesh, southwest of Jenin, when he pulled out a knife.

The forces on scene opened fire, shooting and wounding the Paleostinian man. He was treated at the scene for his injuries, the army said.

No IDF troops were maimed in the attempt.
