#1 Limousine liberal (or latte liberal) is a derogatory term used to describe a rich liberal who considers themselves a champion of the poor and downtrodden, but lives a lifestyle of wealth and luxury. Limousine liberal is mostly an American term. In Austrialia, an equivalent term is "chardonnay socialist", while in France the equivalent term is gauche caviar (caviar left).

St. Francis' example not applicable for these people. One set of rules for me, a second set of rules for thee. As another poster often quips - I'll believe them when they start acting accordingly.

Do take note of a wealthy actor who recently passed and is now reported to have cut his children out of the estate because (to paraphrase) he didn't want them to become trust fund babies.
