IDF, Palestinians Exchange Fire Along Gaza Border

[Jerusalem Post] PFLP hard boyz fire at least 5 mortars at IDF forces, who return fire into Gazoo; Paleostinians medics say 1 moderately injured.
IDF soldiers and armed Paleostinians exchanged fire near the Gazoo Strip border on Sunday, resulting in the moderate injury of one Gazook according to Paleostinian Ma'an news agency.
The IDF Spokesman's Office said that an IDF patrol conducting routine activity adjacent to the Gazoo Strip border were attacked by Paleostinian terrorists, who fired eight mortars at the forces.

(PFLP) grabbed credit for firing five mortar shells at the Israeli forces in the area, according to Ma'an.
In response to the attack, IDF soldiers fired towards suspicious areas but did not confirm a hit. Paleostinian medics, quoted by Ma'an, said that a man suffered moderate injuries and was transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for treatment..
Also Sunday, a number of Arab youth were suspected of throwing lit firecrackers at an army base outside of Jerusalem, starting a large forest fire. Ten soldiers at the Oferit Army base in Jerusalem next to Mount Scopus were lightly injured on from smoke inhalation and two were taken to the Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital for treatment.
