7 suspected gunmen arrested in Baghdad, Diala
|
Aswat al-Iraq: Seven suspected gunmen were arrested in two separate operations in Baghdad and Diala, the Multi-National Forces said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Coalition forces apprehended four Special Groups suspects Tuesday morning during two separate operations in Al Jadidah, about 25 km north of Baghdad in Diala province," said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq.
"Coalition forces continue to degrade the Katai'b Hezbollah network with the capture of three suspected criminals Tuesday morning during an operation in Baghdad's al-Basra neighborhood," the forces said in another statement.
Coalition forces accuse the Special Groups Katai'b Hezbollah network of having support from Iran to launch attacks against Coalition and Iraqi forces to destabilize Iraq, while Iran dismisses such accusations.
