#1 Russia and Western Civilization is a non sequitur. Russia has forever been, and is now, an Oriental Despotism. Its incorporation in Europe is about as valid as incorporating Kazakhstan, or Morocco.

#2 ^ Such a closed mind. What of White Russia. You walk the streets of Russia at the border of Finland and you see a people more like Americans. Russia and China are vast countries as is India. Nations with many diverse peoples. Yet, they are unified to a greater degree than the west. Here in the West independent thought is discouraged (where you would never expect it to occur, an open society with limitations) and in many parts of the world. See the attacks on Seymour Hersh's publication. Western media has blacked him out. New revelations to follow but because we have alternate media the information will disperse. Despotism is here and now.
