Look, these people know on some level what 22T$ in debt means. The Keynesian thing is over and many millions of publicly employed are going to have to go back into the dreaded private sector at a lower pay grade than their sinecure in the clerisy pays them now. All means will be employed to put this off for as long as possible. It really is that simple.

#2 Should be grounds for firing without benefits. Could save a lot of money if they can be spotted. And if they can't be spotted their boss can.
