At least there WAS a time when they attempted to compose some form of evidentiary arc, no matter how preposterous to reach a conclusion. It is, for all intents and purposes, the Fred Phelps Model. Get a swollop of litigation lawyers, go about saying outrageous things, and sue those who disagree.

If the Phelps groups wasn't an actual agent, and there is enough evidence to make that case, they were a case model for this very activity, just as the tobacco lawsuits of ago are the sugar and straw laws of today.
