#3 Nothing new. The old silver amalgam dental fillings created a point-contact galvanic reaction between two tooth fillings and saliva. Acted as a semiconductor of sorts.

Let you listen to Ozzie and Harriet if you lived close enough to an AM broadcast transmitter.

When we were kids, we always thought it would be pretty neat to make that a two-way communications system.

#5 Remember the old paper half-pint cartons? Some had aluminum foil ribbon seals for fruit drinks. Hit a amalgam filling with that!
