#1 Other reports say the 'advanced technology' detected the tunnel. I'd assumed they blew it up the old fashioned way, but this indicates it might be something like a fuel oil aerosol device to get an explosion down a considerable length of tunnel.

I can see why the paleos would be upset, if your nice tunnel could explode at any time. Even well away from the border.

#6 The moral of the story, is not to rush into a tunnel after an explosion. You never know what you will be breathing in.
