#1 It's gotta be something. A very good friend and fellow musician from my college days at Auburn University moved to Los Angeles to persue a musical carier. He is now a card-carrying leftist. Us Rubes in flyover land just don't understand what's best for us.

#2 Yes California has an abundance of home-grown crazy but I don't think the numbers are any higher percentage wise than usual, but we draw crazy in from other states and countries. WE also have a large population and ram people into a couple of large metro areas so the crazy is magnified.
