#2 I found it at the link in the post. Pretty cool actually.

#3 Assumes the US Military controls the airspace and can react to the correct axis of attack. Also assumes advancing enemy scouts or infantry don't discover these systems first. I loved watching the thing retrieving it's own parachute canopy. I had to wonder if it repacked the chute as well.

More costly robotage from defense contractors.

#4 And then the video ends it up with ads from RT (Russia Today) networks.

Not holding my breath.

#5 2 problems with the concept as shown on the video:

1)The video shows the shells blasting straight through the reactive armor. Not clear that is going to happen.

2)The Armata has a defensive system specifically designed to shoot down/destroy any projectile approaching too quickly. Our only protection against the Armata is it's too complicated to build in large numbers.

#7 Don't you think Armata defensive system is a bluff, FA?

#8 All those rocket systems would need to be communicating with each other and the overhead drone. Even if you can't crack the encryption, you will know they are there.

#9 Someone sort of miss the long time love affair the Russians/Soviets have had with preparatory artillery barrages.

#10 Is it...solar powered?

Besides, the aerodrome would have been annihilated by the Russian transforming Ice Cream Truck of Death?

#11 Gee, do you think suppressive jamming might be a problem for the little bots, notwithstanding their thermal anomalous signature to recon drones?

#13 This is all concept. So much fantasy here. Someone is trying to get a big grant with this video. For a scenario that is 30 years out of date.
