#2 Meh.

The article says the first incursion was "hundreds of meters" for a couple min. The aircraft was flying parallel along the border.

The second incursion says two F-16s were "locked on" by an unknown Mig-29. BS. Tonals do not work that way.

#7 The Turks and Russia have been enemies since Christ was a corporal. The Russians need to bomb close to the Turkish border to be effective and Turkey is serious about shooting down straying Russian aircraft.
