#2 Kerry forgets that people like the kidnapped solider have brothers, sisters mothers and fathers. It is doubtful that he would have been kidnapped without the ceasefire Kerry insisted upon. Some families have family members that are not nice. Some day he will hurt one of those and the thread of events after that will not be one he enjoys.
He's married to a billionaire. He should do the sensible bit and retire to enjoy his life.

I disagree, 3dc. Hamas built those tunnels specifically for the purpose of attacking Israelis, and more particularly for kidnapping a bargaining chip. There have already been a number of thwarted attempts to kidnap Israeli soldiers alive or dead, both on Israeli soil and in Gaza; for a week they've been claiming possession of the body of a soldier taken in Gaza. This would just be the first successful kidnapping of a living soldier since Gilad Schalit.

Nonetheless, our brilliant secretary of state's words have encouraged Hamas to continue, as President Obama intended.
