Yep, he is claiming to be a descendent to give himself a claim of leadership. I wonder if he used the same lawyer the ONE used?

Of course, that is the problem with Islam, no central authority. You have all of these tin hat nutjobs and fanatics out there spouting all kinds of nonsense and no central religious authority to step in and provide adult leadership. My problem with Islam is the fact that some illiterate goat herder can put on a robe and a turban and start preaching, without any knowledge, and advocate outrageous practices and people will follow him...

IMHO these groups who revel the butcher show up in history more often than we would like to believe and that access to technology has given those interested in civilization a better field against those who are born and raised to kill or enslave others, the animal man. Sort of a Greeks vs. Centaurs if you will.

Sorry to say it, but widin ths cope of his statement, Al-Baghdadi is actually being more closer to Jesus andor John Wayne, etc. than far too many Non-Muslim contemporary politicians.
